NORTH AUSTIN. Features handthrown pottery by local and nationally recognized artists as well as a nice selection of handmade jewelry, handblown glass, woodcrafts, fountains, and much more.

WEST AUSTIN. This is most probably the best place in Austin to browse for Latin folk art including Oaxaxan ceramics and an incredible array of hand-woven fabrics.

CONGRESS AVENUE. This delightful shop is located in the heart of downtown. An absolutely wonderful collection of folk and pop art from around the world including collectibles from Central and South America, Africa, Morocco, and the Far East. Items include pottery, calendars, jewelry, baskets, loteria art, and so much more. You must see this place to fully appreciate it.

DOWNTOWN. Since Austin has become one of the largest music capitals in the country, it's only appropriate that there would be an art venue dedicated to music. Everything in the shop has a music theme from custom-designed guitar-shaped chairs, to glass and jewelry. Some of the artists on display here are Larry Pitz, Joe Sambataro, and Robert Hurtz.

UPTOWN / ARTS DISTRICT. This enterprise is more than just an art gallery; Women & Their Work Arts is a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting female artists in visual art, dance, music, theater, literature, and film. Paintings, photography, sculpture, and fine crafts are exhibited. The place also hosts dance, music, and theater performances and features a gift shop.
